KYM FINCH

Founder of Finch Therapy
Educational Speaker
Remedial Therapist

Having experienced debilitating pain for 10 years (teens – mid 20’s), Kym is too familiar with how pain can take over your life.

Many, many thousands of dollars in treatment was spent to get some relief, to find at the end of 10 years no significant change in her symptoms had been achieved.  Kym states she always got some short term relief, however, the symptoms returned quickly. Like many people that present for treatment, Kym didn’t have anything wrong with her body to be causing this pain (so the scans/x-rays showed) – yet she was still in pain.

Through education and trial and error, Kym solved her painful condition and has now dedicated the last two decades to solving other people’s pain. Kym was originally trained in Remedial Massage Therapy graduating from the Australian College of Natural Medicine (ACNM) with Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy. She extended her fulltime studies for an additional 18 months focusing on fitness and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Since the late 1990’s, Kym has owned and operated a private Brisbane practice with her focus on neuro-musculoskeletal pain and rehabilitation, specialising in correcting faulty postural alignment and the treatment of chronic pain. During these years, in conjunction with clinic treatment, Kym conducted exercise classes combining postural alignment retraining, flexibility and strength for post injury rehabilitation and chronic pain sufferers.

Kym developed Finch Therapy over the last two decades and is now teaching other professionals / therapists.  To see how you could be a Qualified Finch Therapist “click here”.
