FINCH THERAPY
- Method
  
  The initial objective is to “map” the body. This is done through a series of orthopaedic assessments and functional movement patterns.
- Assessment
  
  No two people have the same joint, muscular or nervous system dysfunction – even if they do have the same symptoms.
- Treatment
  
  Finch Therapy does NOT use manipulation or mobilisation techniques of the spine to achieve results.
- Self-Management
  
  After your assessment and treatment, you will be advised on what to do for your part of the program.

Dr Chris Homan

Queensland Physical Medicine

Dr Chris Homan is the founder of Queensland Physical Medicine. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1989 and pursued a career as a procedural rural doctor for 15 years. During this time he provided all the medical services to a small community including obstetrics, general practice, mental health, emergency medicine and surgery. Over time he became increasingly aware of the large numbers of patients with painful conditions who weren’t adequately treated by the traditional medical system. A personal experience with chronic musculoskeletal pain increased his understanding of the problem and motivated him to start studying in the area. Chris has subsequently completed a Post-graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine and has been working full-time in Musculoskeletal Medicine since 2007.
